Culture King Media was founded in 2008 with the mission to expose and represent the zenith in hip-hop culture with the global community, expressing hip-hop’s inextricable connection to all forms of music, past, present, and future. It’s founder Moonsatellite, né Don Hogan, infuses this mission by drawing from his in-depth knowledge and experience as a professional sound engineer. Moonsatellite‘s work spans across multiple genres, and he has worked with a multitude of artists from the hip-hop, rock, jazz, and zydeco musical communities. Some of his notable clients include the highly acclaimed musical artist Esperanza Spalding, Grammy Award Winner – 2011 Best New Artist, and actor Brandon Young, from HBO‘s The Wire. Culture King Media infuses this acquired knowledge and professional experience into its creative voice to benefit its avid supporters, fans, and clients across the globe.
