Soul genius Bilal came to LA and tore the stage down!
He ripped through a set of album cuts, covers and new,
previously unheard material. Plug Research threw

Definitely a show for the books. Enjoy.

Casual “Tua Ra” • Video

Casual of the Hieroglyphics employs a multilungual
approach with “Tua Ra”, performing a rhyme he wrote
in MDW NTR. I get the feeling that Casual is extremely
prolific and turns out dope songs in bulk like
it’s not a thing. Very interesting stuff.

Low Budget Crew rep Kaimbr has created a
beat tape based on Billy Joel’s 52nd Street album.
He nearly goes track for track with impressive results.
A great lesson for beatmakers: know how to
manipulate minimal sample sources. Enjoy.

Here’s some vintage footage of Project Blowed veterans
P.E.A.C.E. & J-Smoov expertly styling free. While I’m not
sure exactly what year this was recorded, it looks
like it’s from the late ’90s. Enjoy.
