This beat is bonkers! Chi-town representatives Mc/producer Rashid Hadee and producer Radius rock the crowd with some proper freestyle business. Midwest does it again.

If you came up in the Midwest, particulary in the Northwest Indiana/Chicago area, then All Natural‘s “50 Years” was a monumental classic record for you as a hip-hop fan. I remember hearing it on WGCI late night on the Rap Down (wooowwwww, I just took it back!) and taping it on the Memorex w/ the yellow labels (I just took it back AGAIN). The beat is a monster, of course. The lyrics are insane. Cap D got deeply prophetic about the times ahead for his crew and their place in the hip-hop game. Here is a documentary on the song’s creation and origins. Midwest, stand up!
Apollo Brown Skilled Trade [zshare]
“We Almost Lost Detroit (RIP J Dilla)”
“Spoiled Coffee”
“From One To Won”
Spotted @ strictlybeats.
Detroit producer Apollo Brown dropped this free beat tape last year, and I just got hip to his production from Danny Brown’s “Contra“, which we upped here a little while ago. Some rugged beats to start your week with.
