MSK Radio something that I’ve been mentioning for a long time now, and it’s finally here.. in a way. I was offered an internet radio show @ my school shortly before I graduated. Time went on and we didn’t launch before I moved to LA, so I decided to take it to my own blog in podcast form. Then I got to thinking… and I changed the concept. A podcast or two might still pop up in MSK Radio format in the future, but for now MSK Radio’s intents and purposes will be served by blip.fm/moonsatellite. Songs of mine and songs not by me that I really, really like. For example, J Dilla’s Fantastic Four Radio 2004 interview is up right now. I’ll be upping stuff on a regular basis, so check the playlists + archives and enjoy.

Boombox was insane last night. DJ’s House Shoes and J Rocc destroyed the turntables. Illa Jay smashed ish, closing his set with the incredible “Timeless”. All night, Dilla beats. House Shoes even played the “Misdemeanor” joint! I went bonkers. In fact, I went bonkers for over two hours straight. Even moshed with a cat. Mad, mad fun. Lotsa “names” were in the house, I’m not the paparazzi so I’m not gonna put anyone on blast. In fact, just go to twitter to get more details. Let’s just say, the Dilla birthday edition of Boombox was the ultimate. Enjoy the pics.

Happy Birthday, Dilla.

Here’s a dusty from what was intended to be Main Source’s 2nd album. Large Pro fans will recognize this loop from “Sewin’ Love” off his latest solo, entitled Main Source, which is being CRIMINALLY slept on right now. “Time” and two other songs are out now as a 7″ called Lost Science.
